Abstract

The stagnating pandemic shook the world with rising deleterious effects. It has changed the life of people. It triggered some fundamental changes to several segments of the population and multiple sectors of the economy. The education system is no exception. With the educational institutions being closed down due to lockdown, delivery of education has been impacted. Technology enabled ease of online delivery. Several innovative online approaches have been adopted for delivering online education services. In some sense, pandemic has accelerated the adoption of online based education delivery.

This paper examines the impact of pandemic on education services and proposes an outlook regarding the future of online learning. Given the acceptance by participants (learners and teachers) and advantages (in terms of spread and volume) of online learning over traditional learning, the online learning would continue to exist.
