About the Journal
Open access statement: IDE Journal is a fully open-access e-journal. All articles are freely available to all users on the internet after publication. Users can read, copy and publish the publications in other media as long as they are non-commercial and the author or rights holder and the name of the journal title is attributed. One of the advantages for authors is the free access to IDE Journal for all users worldwide. In addition, the authors retain all rights to their work.
Licensing terms: Users are allowed to copy, distribute and transmit an article as long as the author is attributed, the article is not used for commercial purposes, and the work is not modified or adapted in any way. By submitting the manuscript for publication in IDE Journal, the authors agree to the licensing of their work according to the Creative Commons for CC BY-NC-ND (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs License).
Plagiarism Policy: Manuscripts submitted for review and possible publication in IDE Journal must be original manuscripts that have not been published or submitted for review/publication elsewhere. Authors who submit for review must strictly follow the usual rules regarding plagiarism (e.g., as described in https://www.auctoresonline.org/plagiarism). Articles previously published or under review by another publisher are not eligible for publication in IDE Journal. Articles previously distributed as conference proceedings or self-published in blogs or institutional repositories should be substantially revised before submission and should acknowledge this distribution history in an endnote. Authors submitting articles that were previously distributed should include a rationale for review and publication by IDE Journal during the submission process. For more information, please read the Originality section of the author guidelines.
Archiving policy: Authors are free and encouraged to store their work, for instance in institutional or funder repositories or websites such as Academia.edu, ResearchGate, etc., to increase circulation. Contents of the journal will be registered with the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ), Education Resources Information Center (ERIC) and similar repositories.
Copyright statement: Articles published in IDE Journal can be copied by anyone for non-commercial purposes if proper credit is given (see Licensing Terms, above). All materials are published under an open-access license with authors retaining full and permanent ownership of their work. IDE Journal retains a continuous, non-exclusive right to publish the work and to include it in other compilations or indexes to achieve broader impact and visibility. Authors are responsible for and required to ascertain that they are in possession of image rights for all photographs, illustrations, and figures included in their work or to obtain publication or reproduction rights from the rights holders.
